Admissions Requirements

  • Completed application
    • Personal statement (minimum of 500 words and no more than 1,000 words) with information about your interest in attending a bible institution 
      • Share your story about becoming a believer, as well as your growth since that time.
      • Explain your interest in applying to a bible institution at this season in your life, as well as how you would like to see your faith grow.
      • What is your intended outcome after finishing this program? Why is that career or ministry choice meaningful to you?
      • Discuss a local, national, and/or international issue and why you are passionate about it.
    • Upload Resume (within the online application)
    • Two personal references (can be a family member, close friend, colleague, minister, professor or academic administrator)
      NOTE: These can be sent electronically via the online application. If that is not possible, please email them to hello@nationalbibleinst.org.
  • For applicants whose primary language is not English, an assessment will be required
  • A personal interview by the Admissions team

NBI's Master of Divinity is seeking students who have the heart of a life-time learner, a hunger for God's word and is fully committed to putting in the time needed to finish the program successfully. NBI students are thirsty for continuous spiritual growth and come from different ethnicities, countries, denominations and phases of life. NBI's M.Div is a great program for both those who feel their calling is clear and also those who are still exploring their calling.
